Who runs this site
Checklists.tools (checklists.tools) is operated by Checklists.tools. contato@checklists.tools
How it works
Each template is a starting point written for a general case. You are expected to delete what does not apply and add what is missing; the editor makes both one click.
Where an item is about safety (the emergency kit, smoke alarms), the wording is copied from a government page and the page is linked next to the list, with the day we opened it. Items without such a source are left out.
Your checklists stay in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our servers: saving uses the storage of your browser, and a share link carries the list inside the address itself.
Where the data and rules come from
- Ready.gov: Build A Kit — Emergency supply kit items
- U.S. Fire Administration: Smoke Alarms — Smoke alarm testing
How we keep the content up to date
Templates with a cited source are checked against that source when it changes. The others are reviewed when readers report something missing or wrong.
What this site is not
A checklist is a reminder, not advice. Your move, trip, wedding or launch will have steps no template knows about. For emergency planning, follow the instructions of your local emergency management office.
