The things you cannot replace at the destination: passport or ID, visas, tickets, cards and any medicine you take. Put them in one pouch that stays in your hand luggage. Clothes and toiletries can be bought almost anywhere if you forget them; a passport cannot.
Start from this template, remove the sections a trip does not need (no swimwear for a winter city break) and press Duplicate to keep a version per kind of trip: beach, business, cold weather, with children. Each copy is saved on this device with its own name.
For short trips, one outfit per day plus a spare is the usual rule. For trips longer than a week, many travellers pack for about a week and plan a laundry stop. Layers do more work than extra items: a warm top and a rain jacket cover most weather changes.
Size, weight and what is allowed in the cabin differ between airlines and fares, and they change. The rules on the website of the company you fly or travel with are the ones that apply to your ticket, so check them before you choose a bag, not at the airport.
Yes. The list works on a phone and saves each tick on that device. If you started on a computer, press Share link and open the link on your phone to carry the list over.
Yes. Press Print and you get a clean sheet with empty boxes, the title and the sections, without the site’s menus and buttons.
No. Entry documents, plug types and what you may bring in depend on the country. Check the official travel advice of your government and the embassy of the destination, then add the items to the list.
Each person can open the same share link and get their own copy. Ticks do not sync between copies, so split the sections between you instead.
