What you can do with a list

Tick and edit
Tick an item when it is done. The pencil edits it, × removes it, and every section has a field to add your own.
Saved on this device
Every change is kept in your browser right away. Your lists appear under the sheet, ready to reopen.
Print
A clean sheet with an empty box per item, the title and the sections. No menus, no buttons.
Page setup
Letter or A4, margins, compact or write-in rows, two columns, blank lines and room for a clipboard, with a preview of the pages.
Time estimate
Items and time left, per section and in total, from the minutes you give quick, standard and long items.
Share link
Copies a link that carries the whole list. The person who opens it gets their own copy.
Duplicate
Keeps a copy under a new name, for the next trip, the next house or the next new hire.
Copy as text
Plain text with [x] and [ ] marks, to paste into a note, an e-mail or an issue.

Common questions

Do I need an account to save a checklist?

No. Every change is saved in your browser on this device and appears under "Saved on this device". When you come back to the same template, your list opens where you left it. There is no sign-up and nothing is stored on our servers.

How does sharing work without a server?

Share link packs the whole checklist into the address, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to any server, so the list goes straight from you to the person you send it to. Anyone with the link can read it.

Can I start from a blank checklist?

Yes. Press New blank list, give it a title and add sections and items. You can also open any template and delete what you do not need.

Can I print a checklist?

Yes. Press Print and the browser prints a clean sheet: the title, the sections and an empty box for each item, without menus or buttons. Ticked items print with a tick. Page setup picks Letter or A4, the margins, compact or write-in rows and one or two columns, and shows about how many pages it will take.

How long will my checklist take?

Press Time estimate. Each item counts as quick, standard or long, guessed from its wording or picked by you, and each size is worth the minutes you set (5, 15 and 45 to start). The page adds up the items not yet ticked, per section and in total, and updates as you tick.

Can I get my checklist into my calendar?

Yes. Press Due dates, pick a date beside the items that have a deadline, then choose Download .ics. Every dated item that is not ticked becomes an all-day event with a reminder in the file, which you open in Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google Calendar or any app that reads .ics. No account is needed and the file is made in your browser.
